Just saying, sleep is REALLY WEIRD. (also, what is a sleep schedule? All I can do is…sleep when I’m tired, which is at random points of the day, or ignore it until I get time to sleep and then sleep more for a week, it’s weird)

Like, as a concept? It is a bit. Where’s that xkcd strip…

[Sometimes it seems bizarre to me that we take dreaming in stride. Person 1: Are you coming to dinner? Person 2: Yeah, but first I’m gonna go comatose for a few hours, hallucinate vividly, and then maybe suffer amnesia about the whole experience. Person 1: Okay, cool.]

Sleep schedule is… when one sleeps, I guess? I don’t really have a better phrase for talking about it :P Some people seem to be able to keep super consistent sleep schedules! My body is like hahano. I can’t sleep unless I’m properly tired, and there’s only so long after I *am* properly tired that I’m capable of staying up because fun things like involuntary full-body jerks start happening and also I stop being able to keep my eyes focused. >_>

Sometimes I am in the “I can no longer stay upright and keep my eyes open” stage but ffff I still can’t sleep. Sleepy and tired are clearly not the same thing and tired often happens to me without sleepy…

I spent the whole day trying to sleep but only got maybe 2-3 hours of sleep because tired not sleepy :/

I haven’t been able to do better than that since upping the prednisone again last week.
